Hey Shaunathan, surprised to see me here again? Yeah.... me neither.
Mkay.
I've noticed that with many of my songs, I'll start playing it, but it'll just be silence. It'll "play" the whole song, but it'll just be silent. If I move the progress bar, though (to anywhere but the very beginning), it'll play normally.
This happens with different bitrates, and I know that these mp3's are fine, as they play in all other players. For what it's worth, this happens with the crossfade both on or off.
Any ideas? |

Hm. I was about to post about this, but I forgot I already had.
I've found that this happens more often than not when playing 256kbps CBR mp3 files. The symptoms are still the same as the above post, I just wanted to add the bit about 256kbps files.
Again, any ideas? |

This has been a problem for everyone for years. I don't know exactly why it does it but its not the fault of youngmx so much as it is direct x.
I think I have fixed it in changing around playmodes for VBR though, perhaps you could attach one of the files you KNOW to be troublesome, and I will test it out? _________________
